THORNTON HEIGHTS TERRACE

Nestled in a residential setting in south suburban Chicago Heights, Thornton Heights Terrace offers rehabilitative care for adults with a history of psychiatric illness. With its unique programming, Thornton Heights Terrace offers the Functional Solutions Program where each resident is placed according to their individual functional capabilities.

An inter-disciplinary team works for residents and their families to develop a clinically appropriate Plan of Care that is unique to each resident. This plan is carefully monitored and administered by our interdisciplinary staff including psychiatrists who are chosen by the resident.

The services include: 24 hour nursing Psycho-social rehabilitation Therapeutic recreation Job resources Discharge planning Skill training Individual and group counseling

Thornton Heights Terrace is certified for Medicaid payment by the Department of Health and Family Services and is regulated by the Department of Public Health.
